Jackie Cooney has been in the fitness and recreation industry for over twenty years, being fortunate to have managed and worked with amazing teams throughout Calgary. She has made it her mission to provide growth opportunities for personal trainers, nutritionists, coaches and fitness instructors so they can be sustainable in a highly competitive, unregulated industry.
Creating programs such as Pure Strength, Lose To Win, The PUSH, and Canada’s Top Fitness Trainer has allowed her to promote fitness professionals and connect them with new clients. Her company focus and passion is to connect the most qualified fitness trainers in the community.
Some of Jackie’s personal achievements include running marathons and triathlons. She has also won two world power-lifting titles, and competed as a Canadian bobsleigh athlete on the Americas Cup women’s team. She is a former Lululemon ambassador, and was a guest trainer on the Canadian TV series X-Weighted. She has written for two magazines: IMPACT and Outdoor Living.
Jackie has a great interest in women’s health and wellness. She is a certified personal trainer, Pilates and yoga instructor, and strength and conditioning coach. She says her greatest achievement so far is raising her three beautiful daughters, who inspire her every day. 4Hire Fitness recruits, promotes, and connects the community with the most qualified fitness professionals in Canada
