FCM One-on-One presents:
Janus Pinca
President of Modtech Global Canada
Chief Visionary Officer of Modtech Global
Part I:
FCM: Tell us briefly about Modtech Global?
JP: Modtech global is owned by my uncle, Jaz Pinca. He’s from the U.S. He is the CEO. His twin brother, Rain Pinca, is the Chief Technology officer. Modi is our main product for now.
FCM: Is it difficult to be a Chief Visionary Officer?
JP: Sometimes as a visionary, it’s tough to execute on goals. But we have a perfect team because my role is to set the vision and we have the team to execute. My counterpart is Brent Anotado, who is the doer. Just like in basketball, not everyone can be a point guard. I’m more of a coach as a chief visionary officer.

FCM: Tell us about MODI and how the business works.
JP: Our business is a networking business. I believe in it because you give people part of the business. They’re co-owners of the business.
Our business model is online. We can do business wherever there’s internet.
Our main vision is to help people save money, earn money, and be happy with our product at the same time. That’s our work. We don’t just sell products; we help people earn additional income.
FCM: Modtech is a very young company, but it has built a large following already. Why is that?
JP: What made our company successful is the system we have in place. Modi is a plug and play device. There’s initial set-up, similar to setting up a new phone. We also have a tech team, a support team in place. They can text, email, or call our support team, and we are there to assist. Since this is a direct sales method, the person that sold the product becomes the first line of support.
I believe that giving your customers support is the most important thing in business. We did our homework. In our business, we provide training and support. We have a great system that allows us to expand quickly. We want everybody in MODI to succeed.
Here’s an example. We worked with one couple who didn’t have experience in business but are now doing very well because we provide the support they need to succeed. We don’t want people to give an excuse not to succeed in our business.
FCM: When did MODI launched in Canada?
JP: It started as an idea in May, 2015 with my uncle who is an entrepreneur. He saw an opportunity to improve the current android device. So now we have a patent pending device which is what we have in MODI. Fast forward, we got investors. We then launched and shared the product with others. Now we have 1700 business partners!
